Well, its that time of year again :) And, although I absolutely love the idea that the whole year is in front of me with nothing but huge potential for 2012 - I'm having such a huge struggle with getting my head out of the clouds and actually doing some work. I love my little shop and all it's everyday adventures but It's a slower pace in the boutique in January and even into February. I should be using the free time as a great opportunity to get caught up, clearance last year's stock, clean, organize and brace for the Spring rush (and of course all the spring 2012 babies that are expected this year) but I just cannot get by butt in work mode. Maybe it was all the delicious holiday food that made me fat and lazy or just the the dreaming and scheming I'm doing for the 2012 expansion in the boutique but something needs to happen to get me started. I might need an intervention of carrot sticks and some treadmill time or it's going to be one crazy long month.....
So, here's a big cheers to my first blog post - it's the first thing crossed off my New Year's Resolution List and a big pat on my own back for accomplishing at least something today. Now, i don't want to over exert myself so i think to celebrate i shall dig out my flannel Pj's, grab a glass of wine and watch something good on the boob tube. LG :)
